As Director, Skills Initiative, Catherine develops strategic goals and initiatives for implementing German-style apprenticeships in the Southeastern region. Together with her team, she advises various stakeholders across the GA CATT network, including educational partners, companies, and workforce development organizations. Catherine has been with the GACC South since 2008 and has a long track record of helping German SMEs enter the U.S. market. Prior to joining the Skills Initiative team, she managed a variety of consulting projects and trade missions and participated in a three-month exchange program at the Swabian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Augsburg, Germany. Catherine holds a bachelor’s degree in German and International Trade from Clemson University. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a year abroad at Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, Germany.
