ICATT’s Mechatronics Technicians apprentices learn how to create, troubleshoot and maintain electro-mechanical systems, including metalworking, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and a strong focus on electrionics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Mechatronics Technicians can be responsible for:
Fabrication, testing and maintaining electro-mechanical assemblies
Installing and configuring programs for hardware and software components
Creating technical documents such as blueprints and assembly- and instruction manuals
Mechatronics Technicians can hold a variety of positions at manufacturing companies, from maintaining automation technology to building and servicing complex machinery.
Think conceptually and logically
Program PLCs by utilizing technical charts and troubleshoot errors
Effectively plan and verify work processes while checking and evaluating results
