What are the technician's responsibilities?

ICATT’s Automotive Mechatronics Technicians apprentices maintain vehicles and are responsible for checking the systems, carrying out repairs and equipping vehicles with accessories and special equipment.

Automotive Mechatronics Technicians are responsible for:

  • Testing and analyzing vehicle systems
  • Repairing mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for cars
  • Carrying out test drives and checking the vehicle’s fulfillment of the requirements regarding traffic laws
Mechatronics Technicians can hold a variety of positions at manufacturing companies, from maintaining automation technology to building and servicing complex machinery.

  • Effectively assemble or disassemble vehicle systems into or out of operation
  • Steady hands and awareness
