Recently, the ICATT Apprenticeship Program celebrated the graduation of the second Chicago cohort at Chase Tower in downtown Chicago.

As they keynote speaker, Head of the ICATT Apprenticeship Program Mario Kratsch addressed the apprentices, “On behalf of the ICATT Team, we are proud of your success and contribution to the manufacturing industry. Each of you decided on an in-demand career and with the tools you gained from this program, will continue to make great progress in your career.”

Also in attendance, Jim Nelson, Executive Director of the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association Education Foundation, impressed upon the graduates the impact each was making in the manufacturing industry, noting, “As you already learned, manufacturing changes virtually every day. There’s always more to learn. We look forward to you one day mentoring new apprentices as they begin the program.”

As the second cohort to graduate, many apprentices are now full-time employees at their respective company, including Herrmann Ultrasonics, Principal Manufacturing, Richard Wolf Medical Instruments, Scot Forge, WITTENSTEIN, and ZF Services.
