The Industry Consortium for Advance Technical Training (ICATT) recognizes Seyer Industries for their dedication and excellence in their approach to holistic training. The company’s commitment to outstanding training recently won them the GACC Apprenticeship Award, and Seyer accepted the award at the National Apprenticeship Conference 2021 in Washington, D.C.

“On behalf of Seyer Industries, it is a privilege to receive the 2021 GACC Apprenticeship Award. Representing a forward-thinking company and working in partnership with the ICATT Apprenticeship Program that is steeped in history and firmly rooted in success has been a once in a lifetime opportunity for me both personally and professionally. We’ve already reaped positive benefits from this program by utilizing our first two graduates on complex multi axis machines that other employees have struggled to achieve,” says Dave Sweda, Talent Development and Safety Manager, Seyer Industries.

Located in St. Peters, MO, Seyer Industries is a leader in military and commercial aviation flight subsystems and ground support equipment. Providing customers with outstanding on-time delivery and the highest caliber of quality components, Seyer has earned an outstanding customer reputation. With a future set on growth of urban air mobility, electric flight, and commercial space travel, the need for a qualified, well-trained workforce has never been greater. Seyer’s partnership with the ICATT Apprenticeship Program has been a key building block to support their anticipated employment growth.

“…Seyer Industries embodies the goals of the ICATT Apprenticeship Program by supporting apprentices with holistic structures at every level. We look forward to continued cooperation with Seyer Industries in creating valuable career pathways in manufacturing in the US,” says Sascha Kuhn, Deputy Director, Apprenticeship Networks at the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest.
